hey guys doing a rear brake setup on my xf with a el diff and I need to know, what size the tube is? and what parts I will need? I want to run a flexible line from the existing hardline on the body of the xf to the diff into a t piece at the diff hard line to each side of the diff with flexible hose from the hardline to the callipers If some one can help with what fittings and parts I will need that will be greatly appreciated

basically goes engine builder didn't give me the cam card. engine builder misplaced cam card gave me a cam card that he thinks is mine Problem: Cam card says its a HYD cam ~Engine builder said we were using a solid cam ~The motor definitely has solid lifters Now is there a way I can Set the valve lash without a specified lash setting? or should I go back to the builder and hassle him until I get the right card? I remember the original cam card said .577'' lift and it was solid so shouldn't be to hard to find. Reason being is my motor sounds a little tickity and It would be good to have them set right.

Oh I know I need to plumb it into the manifold for vacuum, i was meant to say I don't just want to feed it from the pcv straight to the manifold. doesn't worry me if it has a catch can in-between.
-
Was looking at this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1L-SQUARE-G-STYLE-ALUMINUM-ENGINE-OIL-CATCH-RESERVOIR-BREATHER-TANK-CAN-BLACK-/281748220155 I just want to run it so its isn't running into the intake and and I don't just want to run filters on the top of the rocker cover!
-
Might just want factor, but I want to run oil catch can on my worked crossflow. Thoughts and are they all the same or ones to stay away from?
-
Make sure all the breathers for the engine aren't blocked (pcv), mine weren't working and was pressurising and pushing out the dipstick. could be the same problem!

Mustardxf replied to Mustardxf's topic in Transmission and Differential
ordered a RPM CI level 3, 5 puck ceramic button clutch. $363 -
Hey guys, Wanting everyones options on whats a good strong, reliable clutch for a beefy crossflow with a t5? 3.45 diff gearing.
-
This is a c4 I can get for $1500, probably a little less if I hustle him. stage 2 c4, cooling mods, performance bands, frictions, heavy duty snout on converter, r servo, new trans lines, new vacuum modulator), full conversion kit! includes lokar dipstick and kickdown, c4 magnum flexplate suit 250xflow, trans mount and rubber, bell housing for a 250 crossflow.
-
Ill give it one more shot with a manual and new clutch, if it flogs out just as quick I think a auto will definitely be on the cards. I already know of a tricked out c4 for a crossflow that I will get.
