hendrixhc 10,920 Posted April 25, 2018 I have used 2 aerpro fascias, one uspide down and back to front. I also reshaped the heater box by cutting out the hump in the middle and will be fixing in a right angle plate to give something to mount the back to. 1 Undefeated reacted to this
Undefeated 76 Posted April 25, 2018 I’ve got a decent stereo ready for new rig , I was running it my other car, the Bluetooth calling and video player is great, a couple 10s with fusion amps , splits and rear coaxial, was pretty good. Wow I actually had a similar idea about using the 2 plates and that looks good. i also wondered about using a plastic surround out front to blend it in as well , and trimming it to fit. is there gaps around your surround?? How’s the fit? I suspected it would require that heater box cutting back..
Undefeated 76 Posted April 25, 2018 I was looking how the factory did similar.

Undefeated 76 Posted April 26, 2018 It would be good if somebody tooled up and made a piece specifically for this seeing as there’s so many head units now using double din..perhaps from fibreglass.. double din is nice.
