Fair price for rebuilt Carter thermoquad?

Hi guys, as the title suggests i would like to know what a rebuilt Carter thermoquad would be worth. I had it

 

fitted to my Cleveland and it is perfect. I had it rebuilt by Rob Campbell of Hamilton, Victoria. Rob is quite well known

 

around that area as the guru to go to for anything Ford. I have bought a new Holley so i really don't see the point of

 

having the thermoquad sit in my shed if it's not going to get used. A used one on Ebay is $95 and a rebuilt one

 

is $395, but that's just silly!! lol. Any advice appreciated on a FAIR price, i don't want to rip myself off as it did cost a bit 

 

to have built, but i also don't want to rip anyone else off like some of the stuff you see these days!! Thanks.

I paid $200 for a guy to rebuild the carby on an Econo van I had years ago. (I shouldn't say had, I still have it, been functioning as a shed for set of wheels and lawn mowing gear for the last few years though)

I ended up putting $150 on it (negotiable)

 

I think that's a reasonable price.
