Front guard removal

Recommended Posts

Howdy all, as title suggests.  To remove is (if I remember from 15yrs ago) bolts along top, behind the front wheel, remove indicator and there is another bolt there?

Was going to clean it up, use POR metal ready and then spray matt black the inside the of the guard. Sound like a good idea? Any suggestions welcome.

Cheers

Having the same issue... can't seem to get it off.

The back part (near the windscreen) is loose, got all those bolts, but there's something at the front holding it in.

Got the one behind the indicator, and the screw holding it in with the bumper, but something's still stuck...

dammit, cant get the middle top screw off, next to the rubber bonnet stopper. the back of it has a thin metal washer nut (im sure there's a name for it). screw just keeps spinning and cant get anything underneath to hold it.

any suggestions?

also how would you go about putting it back together again?

cheers
