revhead 1,392 Posted October 16, 2013 take the sender out ,earth it out ,plug in the fuelguage wire to sender ,then with ignition on use your hand to move the sender, and watch the gauge ,if the gauge is mucking up pull the gauge cluster out ,then try to manipulate the needle a little to see if this helps Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Crazy2287 1,886 Posted October 16, 2013 If its a capacitive probe then you've been useing ethanol formulated fuel and there is nothing wrong with the probe. I won't search for it as I'm on mobile, but if you use your skills and my username while searching for "troubleshooting fuel level" or something like that it should come up.
