    Fitech (or equivalent) injection

Thanks Ivan, great and informative reply. I was keen to use the fitech fcc although some problems with them has me waiting for the fitech g surge to be available, hope fully being second generation some of the bugs have been ironed out. !! I really want to stay away from in tank or external fuel pumps if I can. My motor should be up to 400hp but has never been dynoed.
  2. Howdy, Seriously looking at putting a 600hp fitech on my 351 Cleveland. Is anyone using one or a equivalent one. What are the pros and cons. The way I am looking at it is it won't cost me much more than a good carb and dyno. A con for me is I live in the country and the car is only a weekend cruiser but every time I drive the car I do around 200km going to cruises etc. The last thing I want to do is spend good coin on something that will leave me stranded on the side of the road and have no clue of how to fix the bastard.!! Cheers.

EL thermo fans on XF radiator

This was on a xc radiator, looking at Wagoons photos the xf radiator might be shorter??

EL thermo fans on XF radiator

I bolted to the top of radiator and pop riveted small angle brackets to the bottom of the shroud that sit in the bottom radiator clips. Used a Davies Craig digital controller that turns the fans on at your pre determined temp. Is a twin controller so turns the second fan on around 10 seconds after the first fan to reduce load. Works really well.

Thanks mate. It kinda seems odd as I believe number one is more like 1 o'clock position. Will get into it in a minute.

Thanks James. I don't think I can get mine that far around as it has a straight housing and the thickness of the hose also. Is number one in that photo at the 9 o'clock position??

Yea got spark, had to remove the module on the dizzy and jump the wires together. I'll have another go today. It was pissing me off yesterday. Don't think I have firing order or number one right. Walked away and had a few drinks instead.

Pmsl, I am pretty sure you are dead right James. the stress this has caused me, as usual I was over thinking it. Should just have got into it and measured everything.!!! I have a mate's wedding to do with the car next weekend, and I have been stressing about it a bit making sure everything is going to be good for the day. I would fucken hate to brake down on his wedding day.! Thanks again James.
