They don't have a k frame as such mate, which bit do you mean? Generally speaking though xe body's are the same as xe.
-
Like Dave said, pressure wash the shit out of it. I use degreser though.
-
Thread stickied. There are some brilliant tips in here.
-
Seen them in ltd and lanes, xf is different.
-
The price difference makes it hardly worth fitting it yourself if thats the case.
-
Dont be scared, they are easier to work on than our old shit.

The guy has not asked for an opinion on his plans, lets stick to helping him rather than shitting on him.Simple answer to the question is yes au's ran a simple converter system from factory, falcons never got gas injection until fg mark2. I f I were doing it id use something like an impco system because the vialle gas that ford used on au are not tunable, and very expensive to replace a converter on.

The lh one on the xd was a fucking nightmare, we had to snake it around the filler neck/sender/chassis rail/tyre.not fun and a very slow process.
-
Toyota boxes are hard to find, expensive, and relatively weak for the cost. go with a t5 if dollars are tight go with a tremec if you can afford to splash.
-
Just do what it says on the tin mate.it will be fine to paint acrylic over it, , done it a million times.

When a member of wes caliber is banned I understand it will leave shockwaves for a while,it's been long enough. He's started a fight in a turbo thread and he isn't even here lol. Enough though, only gay dudes fight over hair driers.
-
Yeah au2 to bf3 run the same front end, can't say I've tried to do the upgrade either so couldn't say if the k frame is the same or not.
-
S1 au has smaller front brakes and a different steering rack, that is the main mechanical difference.
-
I've never seen an au xr6 without lsd, it was an option on ba. Lsd was stock on au xr's.all the hp xr6 sedans were live axle, all the xr8 and vct xr6 sedans were irs no matter what series.
Mustang front suspension comparable with falcon?
Ants replied to n00bus m@x1mus's topic in Steering, Suspension and Brakes
The sedan version of that era of torino was the last falcon sold in the USA, and only sold in 1970 before being dropped from the lineup. I would bet it's no coincidence they bolt right up to xa's,they were the xa's dad. -
My xd runs a frankenpump in tank pump and sender setup, so it can be done. Just make sure you use submersible fuel line for any rubber lines.

Tell us what you really think Steve lol.

That's why the hinges are adjustable, they wouldn't move if all the doors fitted exactly the same from car to car.
-
This is good advice if the doors are the original ones for the ute, if they were off something else all bets are off.
-
Yep,adjust the hinges on the body then fine tune with the door to hinges.
-
Take out the striker when lining up too,set the door up in the hole then make it close. The striker will throw it all over the place. If the gap is larger at the top it means the the top hinge needs to go backwards, which will lower the whole door,so then lift the whole door straight up to get it lined up. Make sense?
-
Is the gap even all the way along where the door meets the quarter panel?
-
+1 for the Peter Jackson colours.
-
That's what I usually do.

What about a colour scheme off an ef era race car? Djr yellow and blue?
