Hey guys the dizzy was going in fine ,then i had to take it out,now there seems to be something with a rubber end stopping the dizzy from going down and slotting in the oil pump drive ? wtf is it ,some type of seal it wasnt doing this before,i tryed to poke it back up but nope that dont work ,please help,and the motor is in the car today.

just take the whole thing to the diff shop and pick it up fully fixed,they will check the LSD and have it done in no time.

yeah i will drop it off and get em to fix it all up ,more than likely they will say why dont you just get us to make you a killer shaft and yup i will be easily convinced.

ok,is it wise to put new uni's in aswell or just use the old ones ?

I have pulled the crossy out and already starting to think what i am going to do with it,i will strip it down and do some mods i have seen on these pages,she is a 80da engine fitted to a 6-82 xe with the 35 auto,the head looks unmarked,so not until i take it off can i see what chamber size it has ?

Does anyone have a bellhousing or complete c4 to suit a crossy for sale in QLD ,brisbane or GOLD COAST area ?

Hey guys give some advice before i chop it,the new fmx yoke is about an inch longer than the old unit,but the slipyoke goes in the fmx all the way ,so ? note the line is the same where it finishes in the box .

can any of the balancers fit on the crossy crank eg.. putting a 4 bolt on a 3 bolt stocky

im gunna be sticking with the block and head that i have,hey pro 250 what sort of cam suits a n2o crossy ?

I am glad i did a dummy fit of the starter and headers because it didnt fit,so out comes the grinder and took about 30 thou off a thick weld,and i was also able to adjust the starter in a bit ,other side should be a snack.

i was gunna buy thoms one but it was too much to post,i was wondering why dellow doesnt do one ,the only other one i have seen is a $1000 one which is ford pattern but full on race one.

yup i no but what has me puzzled is can the cast iron 79 xd c4 bellhousing be used on the c10 26 spline boxes ? cause the 6 cyl c4's were 24 spline right ?

its gunna be drag only,so i guess the usual mods to the box ,and converter.

I have spoken to mike vine up in brizzy,he has some sic turbo stuff.

yeah cause i blasted the fook out of it with the gernie,but really wasnt that bad,im just gunna store it untill i get the clevo going,then attack it with the crazy crossy build !

well the paint is a bit dull from the degreaser i put on there but it will polish up ok,i also put the new v8 accelerator cable in ,

ok i did a fair bit today,firstly taking the old exhaust off,putting the new v8 mounting plates in,stripping the old wire loom to redirect the dizzy and temp wires,degreased the engine bay again ,and robbed many bits and pieces off the crossy to go onto the clevo,eg.. coil bracket,loom clips.ect ect,might even place the clevo in there tomorrow.

Dealer fitted,my xe had brand new 14 x 6 gold performance wheels fitted ,aftermarket wheels were offerd to the public.

yeah i cant wait to start it up and run the cam in.
