coil 1st there a shit of a thing ,leave the tfi until you test replace the coil

get A longer piece of sqaure rod poke it through the tailgate then weld on a handle for inside use

dont be shy go n buy a can ,of hair spray,lol give it a few coats all soughted

balast resistor should be hooked up to the positive side of the coil,all its doing is lowering thew volts,try unpluging the resistor and pluging straight into the coil,

to circumvent all of this ,run a wire from the positive side of the battery to the positive side of the coil ,then hit the key this will make it run,this is like a check to see if the coil and module are working,then to stop motor pull wire off of battery

ea eb falcons have the same guard clips etc ,go to your wreckers an take a flat blade srew driver n a 10 mil socket

you need to cut it back with 1200 or finer wet n dry and a soft block,with soapy water, then buff,it,using a lambs wool pad, and a harsh cutting compound ,like a septone compound

with 2 pak clear it will peel off acryilci solids,its kind of the candy apple effect ,

problem with 2 pak clear over acrylic is the clear drys rock hard and the acrylic is a softer base paint ,with a stone chip it just blows the base coat to pieces and takes the clear with it ,no matter how long you wait for the older paint system to dry ,its not compatible,2 pak base coat with 2 pak clear all day ,and use the same brands of colour and clear,dont mix em up,i paint tons of bikes and cars every year ,n i hate come backs so i use the correct paint n clear,,plus i hate doing the same job twice ,done once done right i say!

go to an automotive paint suppliers,geez Chris i think your paint supplier in helping himself a little bit to the over pricing side of things ,up here for a group 3 colour ,say sting red i pay $78 a litre and thats in DEbeers,, as said spend a little extra , also dont use acrylic its an out dated paint system ,go 2 pak,its easier to work with gives a better finish, and is a tuffer stronger paint to boot.

no he said its efi ,so dont touch the dizzy ,why is that everyones 1st thing to pick,tfi module should be fine,check for air leaks,then move on to idle speed motor ,also on the side of the air box inlet theres an air mass metre check that the plug hasnt come out or loose ,also check that the little wire in there were the air flows through is intact ,dont touch it

the centres are gold anodised ,not chrome plated ,it cost and arm n a leg to get them redone ,and the wheels are called STRIKERS

ea to ed steering wheels interchange ,but as stated above there is differences ,you could pull a steering wheel of an xe upwards or borrow one from someone to try
