The paint on my bullbar is fading and i want some tips on re-painting it. By law the paint must be black (light reflection reasons)

Gave the system a bleed again and the pedal feel has come back, wounder what caused it to go soft again....

Well i've noticed this arvo that the pedal has gone soft again, take a look at the front lines and noticed on the left caliper was all wet with brake fluid

Well i hooked up me sub and fuck me it sounds far better with the new headunit!! More tunablity than the old one

I bought a new headunit after the old one fucked up (wouldnt turn on again) soldered all the electrical connections and there's no sound. There was sound from the old unit before it shat itself by why is there none coming from the new one? Can anyone help me out?

Yep, reminds me when the gas switch burnt out in the XD Fuckin oath mate! My old headunit (it was a pioneer) was shit with subwoofer tuning. I did manage to have somewhat an "ok tune. I'll be pumping the tunes at the next ball, Longy Seeders and Strippers ball is the next one i think. That reminds me, the old one (again it was a pioneer) was great but it started making funny noises and neally everytime you go over railway tracks, bumps in the road or drive on shitty gravel roads it would cut out. In the end it wouldnt turn on again after i used the battery in another vehicle, i have a feeling that its got broken solder joints.

Also on 35 models the cooling lines are on the drivers side on the box, not the passenger side like on 40 and M51 models

Fuck up you LOL That reminds me, when i first opened the box the packaging looked to be tampered with, i was abit sus about it first but i though "ahh fuck it" so i installed the headunit and no sound, It powered up fine but no sound. Seb also told me to use the XG or XH dash fasia mainly for a neater look.

Hahaha you guys I checked for power at the speakers, double checked the wiring and the headunit was fried, fried electric's stink. My new Pioneer headunit seems to have better settings for subwoofer tunabilty

Checked all the wiring and it was good, power at the speakers, etc. Turns out it was fucked so i went back to JBHIFI and got it swapped it over. I thought "fuck it" i'll pay the $80 bucks for the install, the bloke who does the stezza installs turns out to be one of Elliejanes mates Cheers for the install Seb

I do have an amp but there no inline fuse hooked up and theres no connection on the battery. Amp worked fine before i took the sub out and removed the inline fuse.

Never had that issue before, used solder on the old headunit and never had an issue till it stopped working.

You love the sound of a clevo dont ya? I need me tunes and subwoofer (cant hate country music)!!! I called it quits for the night, i'll look at it again tomorrow

Yep, what gerg said, for about $100-$150 bucks you can put an E series wagon-XG-XH LSD diff in as they are better with a 28 spline centre and axles.

I'll have a go at removing the glass without having to use force, otherwise....window eats brick.

Really? Maybe the last batch of XG's had the plastic cased ones?

Yep, i fitted an XG one in my XF, master cylinder is the same too and it all bolted up with no hassles.

Warped manifold maybe?

True that, that 78DA part number is the same from XD. Ford do lots of little shit, like use the same leaf spring pads, shackle's and rubbers from XR-XT in the current FG. I bought a speedo gear from a dealer and its still got the XE part number on it lol.
