Banno 479 Posted March 14, 2017 I got of hold of a NC fairlane lsd diff. But it has the abs axles and sensor plate minus hardware and calipers though. Is there any issues in using a abs diff and putting calipers and rotors from a non abs from a e-series?
SLO247 1,713 Posted March 14, 2017 Calipers are the same. I don't know if the tone wheels for the ABS are on the rotors or what but the non ABS rotors will fit anyway. Guessing its going in an X series? Won't make a difference if so, use whatever discs you have.
SLO247 1,713 Posted March 14, 2017 Just read that again, if the abs tone wheels are on the axle ends then the rotors will be the same.
Banno 479 Posted March 14, 2017 Yes the tone wheel is on the axle. As far as i can see from the DBA catalogue they are all the same between falcon and fairlane except front are different from ABS and non ABS. I just wanted to see if anyone else has dealt with a abs diff before and any different input with them. Thank you for help
SLO247 1,713 Posted March 14, 2017 Yeah the fronts have the tone wheel on the disc.
