Mr Polson 10,214 Posted December 21, 2015 Hey guys Been put on the hunt by the old man (as he is hopeless with modern technology). The XT has a XB brake master cylinder in it, and as such the XT brake fail plug is completely different and it doesn't currently have a brake fail warning. Now, I looked at the plug last time I saw it but didn't take a photo. So, anyone know if any later model Falcon have the same type of plug on the brakes? From memory it does look similar to what's on my XF.
bear351c 10,277 Posted December 24, 2015 Should work with any model. The switch senses when the spool inside passes by. ( during normal operation this never happens.) Not 100% sure, though. And I bin drinkin..........
Mr Polson 10,214 Posted December 24, 2015 Yeah, but I need to know if the actual plug/connector for a XB switch is the same as other models. What I need to do, is find a XB, (or car with same plug), cut the plug out of the wiring loom so that it can be rewired into the XT and connected to the M.C
