Gerry Ahern 366 Posted July 8, 2015 Why are OE windscreen washers always disconnected and aftermarket put in? Are they so crrappy that there is no point fixing them? Looks terrible on restored car.
bear351c 10,270 Posted July 8, 2015 Cost. OEM washer pumps are hard to find, some models have never been re-made, and if you can find a NOS (NewOldStock) it'll be worth a shipload. After market washer kit, with bottle, pump, bracket and hoses is about $30.
Gerry Ahern 366 Posted July 8, 2015 What about the cheap reconditioning kit on eBay for $35?
