xfish 20 Posted November 2, 2014 Hey guys, As you'd know by now, i'm still going through my EL XR8. I bought a trip computer, but I never wanted it to work proprly, but I only just wanted it to display the day, date and time. When I plug my trip computer into the existing harness, nothing lights up nor dose it display. I'm aware to get the trip computer to work, I have to run 3 wires around and plug them in certain places, and I can get it to measure all the fuel mileage's of the fuel used, and left to be used. Is there some way, to get the trip computer to display the day/date/time? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
xfish 20 Posted November 4, 2014 Weirdest thing .... I pulled the facia panel off and noticed that there are a 2 extra looms that are plugged into the 'rear window' button. They are plugged into a plastic lug, and do nothing. I suppose if I had a station wagon, I could just plug the switches in for the rear window wash and wiper. They do that, and don't add the extra wires to get the trip computer to work......lol Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
