blueman 0 Posted November 2, 2014 Hi guys, I'm having some trouble with my 2nd remote and wonder if anyone knows someone who fixes them rather than getting a replacement? Most times when you press the button, the red light is extremely dim, almost non existent. Other times the light is bright but the locks don't respond, and very occasionally it works as intended! I replaced the battery and still the same issue, I'm guessing it could be a loose solder joint or something but I know nothing about these sorts of things, so if anyone knows who or where to get it looked at I'd be very appreciative! SPArKy_Dave 8,892 Posted November 2, 2014 Try re-flowing the solder joints. They can sometimes fatigue, and only give a partial connection. It's a common problem.
