LLR 1 Posted June 7, 2014 Can anyone tell me if this sort of motor is good enough for a xf ute project? I have an old 1957 F500 truck,was going a few years ago till carbie probs, then parked it to fix up but never did. So any feed back would be good. gerg 10,871 Posted June 7, 2014 In a word... No. In a few more words... It's an ancient design phased out in 1962 that would deem it unacceptable for installation in anything newer than that date. A Windsor, complete with emissions gear, manufactured during or after the release of the XF would be acceptable with an engineer's certificate Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
