Looking at going a new cam either comp xe274 or 280h Anyone got any info good or bad on these cams. In a xd 351c dished pistons 2v closed chamber heads performer manifold either 600 vac sec or 750 dp Holley 4 into 1 pacemaker 2 1/2 single system ,auto 2500 stall, diff 28 spline 3.45:1. Thanks

Ran at heathcote on the weekend, very disappointing, to much wheel spin no traction. Best run was 15.58@87.89 no traction off line. was running 14.4@99.36 a couple of years ago with cobra jet cam, stock 2v heads and 600 vac sec holly, running on 14" wheels 215 tyres Now has xe274 cam head work roller rockers, 750 dp. 15" wheels 265 tyres. Stiffer leaf springs.

I use one on mine. Never had a problem.

Has anyone used composite leaf springs on there xd falcon. Just thought it would be a good idea. Cant find out much about them through the Internet.

Springs have arrived. And fitted today. Nice and light. Only given it a quick blast around the block,feels good.

Is there anyone who specialises in panel gaps. Have got mine as good as I can get. But think there needs a bit of expert love to get it right.

Nice idea sly dog, but I need new springs as I broke a main leaf last weekend. Going flex form. See how it goes. It's not a drag car. I have another one for that.

Flex form have got back to me with a price of $625 delivered. But haven't told me what else I need to do to run this set up. Still trying toget as much information as possible. Any info would be great. Thanks

Just bought a XH van for the running gear. The head has htp on the front of it, anyone know anything about them. Good or bad.

Cant find any number on the head. And I can't find any info from google on htp heads.

Fuelline is 3/8". Fitted new pump, checked the timing and backed it off a little ( thanks xcsedan) Runs real good. The standard taco is in need of an upgrade now, it's not keeping up with the revs I think.

Got a proflow fuel pump mech 100 Gph. See how it goes. Should get time to fit it tomorrow.

New bracket for spedo cable, now get full throttle. Flipped the lid on air filter still stumbles up high. Must be fuel. I only have the standard mech fuel pump. So next investment fuel pump, reg and lines. Any recomedations.

It goes real hard now. I have a few issues I have to rectify, engine run on, not getting full throttle, and no kick down link for the auto. Feels like its running out of air or fuel up top revs, might have to try it with a different air filter.

Thom thanks, yes I got the new one out of the glove box. Stu5766, yes I put the rollers under the standard rocker covers, thought they would work better there.
