Thom, I did the cam run in today, then had a quick blast up the street. Now draining the oil and getting ready to start putting inner spring in. It's not going to get mistaken for a stocky anymore! Sounds real tough. It will be interesting to see how it goes on the dyno, and then to the drag strip.

Good to know Stu5766. Got the heads back, bolted on, rockers adjusted, extractors bolted on. Want to finish putting it back together tomorrow,and run cam In on Saturday. Thanks Thom for the rockers and pushrods fits perfect.

Nice try Butcha, but don't think the cam budget will go that far.

Have looked at my heads need to get the seats done, install height to high. This MIght just blow out a bit from a just cam change.

What parts can interchange between between xd van and xh van. Barn doors are they the same. Roof is it the same shape.? The plan is to build a xd van that looks stock on the outside with efi v8 and 4sad auto. The van I have is factory v8 302. But it has rust in the quarter panels and some in the roof. Any info about body shape changes would be good, there are plenty of xg xh cabs at pick a part to cut up for rust repair if there the same shape

Been told 35a is a code for commercial brakes.

I have a xd van v8 with the only option 35a. Anyone know what that is.
