  1. Hi guys

I recently acquired a AU ute with the 260 boss motor and sounded fantastic but for a RWC I had to put a resonator on to quieten it down. Now you can hardly here it.

So I'm asking has any one used one of these exhaust bypass systems and are they any good?

  2. Hi all

Need some help with a brake booster out of a XE. I don't want to spend $400+ on a refurbished one, so i'm after a kit with the diaphragms but can't find anyone that sells them.

Does anybody know where to find one. If not is there a later model booster that will fit for example XF or later.

    Any help appreciated. Peter.

  3. Hi guys

The problem I have in my xe 250 cross flow & bw-35 auto is a loud knocking when I accelerate round a corner.

But not all the time. Cruising at 100k's no noise.

I'm thinking maybe torque converter bolts loose. Is it possible to check/tighten the bolts without dropping the tranny out.

    Any help appreciated.

  4. Hi guys

I had a fire under the bonnet a while back witch took out most of my wiring.

I've rewired lights, ign, etc, but not sure about the gas side of things.

Ideally a diagram of the wiring connecting the coil, cutoff valve, primer, peel cp30 etc.

But any info would be appreciated.

    Cheers Peter

  5. Hey Hellenikboy

If you block them off you won't heater controls.

One goes to the heater tap on the inlet hose and one to vaccum manifold

swap them around till you get heater controls

With the carbon cannister it all depends on how much respect the environment

    Cheers

  6. Found a loom at centre road wreckers out of a v8 which is a very rare find at a self serve wreckers

Also bonnet cable, C4 inhibitor switch and a pocket full of nuts and bolts to cover the $2.00 entry fee.

Cost me under $50 so it was a good day.

  7. Not sure how the fire started most likely electrical as per your post.

No fire in the cabin but a lot of plastic has melt under dash.

I consider myself lucky as I pulled up next to a auto shop and they came out with a extinguisher and a fire station just around the corner

    were there in 15 minutes.

If 6 cylinder loom is the same that would be good.
