He mentioned in comments that when done he's going to have a few for sale. Maybe he'll upload the print files somewhere so you could print locally.

Just something of interest I reckon

I hate plastic guard liners... stupid euro felt covered ones can get stuffed too

Shiny[emoji41] Although that last shot with the masking just highlights how hideous that kind of wheel looks when you attempt to colour code them ...bleh[emoji33]

I used to live at the top of the hill, just past the lookout cafe. Up and down the hill was usually fun even in the mirage, although the rover sounded better hehe. Up is more fun than down although when you live there you learn not to over do it because the local cops LOVE that hill. Lycra clad wankers can get stuffed though [emoji13]

Doesn't a certain green escort run a pinto motor?? [emoji6]

Yeah every car ever made could have used that as their marketing slogan

I've considered one for my Fargo but I have different end goals to you.

Thinking along similar lines, I've seen fast mustangs put together in the states with the big 300ci straight six from effies. Not suggesting any cheaper though

A wise man once said... "Your car, your dollar, do whatever you damn well please" Forget his name.... Merlin I think, or something like that.... If you can make it happen and it puts a smile on your dial, then I see no better reason to go ahead and do it. The rest are just sheep....

BUT the radiator level, is up to level with the overflow outlet. This bit...that's where it should sit, close enough to push fluid out and to pull it back without air locking.
-
It sounds close. When you pop the cap on the overflow it'll lose its grip on the water in the straw somewhat, so expect bubbles. Could top up the overflow slightly more to aid suction. Should be able to have it around half full or so. You can have issues with water transfer back and forth if the overflow is too low below the level of the radiator. All depends on pressure in/out.
-
If that's the type of bottle I think it is, its got a straw inside the bottle to suck up from the bottom yeah? And your hose from Rad is connected to it on the cap? Those ones should be self bleeding. With some fluid in the reserve bottle, enough so it doesn't suck it dry, as the radiator heats up and spits fluid to the bottle...air goes with it. When it cools the hose should be full of fluid by itself, creating the suction. If the levels are correct in the whole system, then you won't really see a change except at full pressure hot with the most fluid pushed out into the bottle then. Once cooled in theory, should return to neutral level.

Still possible ..cars go both ways across the pond

I'm guessing evil twin...has British plates I think

Tyre is an easy fix with a plug, center of the tread no worries. The boiling, not so great:-( apparently something dislodged with the spirited driving maybe ..hope its not actually fooked
-
Stick with the same look in black steelies, swap tyres on to new rims then see if the others are worth fixing. My 0.002c [emoji4]

How fresh is fresh anyway [emoji39]

Yeah under 1500 -3000 should be ok. Used to run one in either an old drill or a proper air tool which ran at 3k max. I didn't run the drill at full speed, just jogged the trigger on and off to keep the speed down.
-
Be VERY careful with how much pressure you put on the surface and keep it moving. It will burn paint easily if you go too hard at it or sit in a spot too long. Spinning the wheel too fast can make the bad things happen quicker. I'd suggest trying it on a spare panel to get a feel for it before using it on your car
-
I could be wrong too but I'd read that part about pointing to #1 as find tdc then align with #1 plug lead on the dizzy cap, rather than pointing at physical cylinder. Someone will know more than me though.

And there you go again bringing logic into the discussion [emoji27][emoji16]

Is there a stop leak type product that will help out? Maybe at least slow down the loss in the meantime. If Lucas brand made one I'd give it a shot as their stem seal treatment worked on the au wags. Haven't had to even top it up since last service.

I'm guessing this had something to do with your alignment issues [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
