  1. with my new chestnut sedan im keeping the 4.1 and will replace all 4 springs in the sport low with good qlty shocks ,the 6cyl kings are different to the v8 ones,i remember one thing i did with the old chestnut car was fit v8 front springs while it was still a 4.1 and it wasnt heavy enough to look low at the front but once v8 was fitted it dropped .

  2. rear was fine with just sport low springs, but add a fmx, full iron 351c and sport low went to super low with all that weight,i ended up putting std v8 front king springs back in it and raised it just enough for a better ride and still looked a bit low, more like esp ride height, and yeah when i checked the bump rubbers they were hitting the car,so i chopped them a bit ,it did work but like i said i went back to std v8 king at the front and it was a lot better.

275449225242 looks the closest, but I'm not sure that it's bent correctly (I'll have a look at mine from above tomorrow to see what it looks like).  But it wouldn't take much to re-align it.

zk is yours a 82 ? just remember the later shifters with the red button could be different ,c4 is easy there is only 1

  4. im dying to see this,as i have never seen or heard of such a diff ratio.i have heard of the 2.53 ,but not this other one,it dont make sense with such a ratio so close to the 2.92 or 2.77,we all know of 3.23,only thing i can think of is a 5 speed 3.3 litre ratio maybe.

  5. ok i took time off work because it was bugging me too,i went to the machine shop and asked him,and got more than i bargined for,1 a gear drive on a cleveland will need shim to centre it from wobbling,2 a chain may need the shim ,3 a hyd cam on a cleveland has lobes ground a certain way to make the lifter rotate on each bank,4 a roller cam is different again the way it is ground ,5 you do NOT need a needle roller cam plate for your app, just another expensive purchase ,the guy said if anything just cut 2 tiny slots extra on the plate to oil the sucker more, but refer to number 5 you dont need it,just buy a quality std plate that has oil slots on both sides not a cheap pro comp one, they dont have any,and 6 hurry up and build it because skids not loading.

  6. also chex cam movement in tunnel ,some chain makers give the shim, but on a street motor i would not even buy any of this expensive gear i have learnt to many times ,you have made the right choice by roller cam upgrade, use the left over cash in other areas,i dont even use roller rockers ,std rockers are fine with mild cam.i think the smALLEST roller cam for a clevo is 505 lift .

  7. even when you buy a roller cam and lifter kit retro it does not state that it is needed,i can ask at machine shop later today where he runs sprint car engines with roller cam bearings ect.
