atm the head is 54cc before milling,ol,m8 seems to want to take the head to around 52cc its an unmarked head,out of ryan's original 4.1 engine.

so just a slight skim of the block will get it very close to zero deck.

With crossy on the bench ol,m8 is haveing a look at how close the piston is to the block b4 milling it turns out it 12thou.

i scored another 3 of these today but 2 dont have performance written on them but 1 does.could be knock offs but they are identical ?

interesting you mean the early hyd ? i have a 3 speed here and its cable ,looks like the same as 4 speed borgy drivers side cable

im starting to catch on here ,so if you have say 210 @ 500 it has potential for a real powerful engine,most of those other figures start to fall over around 600 why is that ando.

ok next question is ,is the 6cyl fork the same as v8 ? well um errr i suppose it is,since its going on a box that was in v8's,cable 6 is different

$75 for a line,or ford muscle parts in sydney,you could used to buy the xbgt heat sheilded line but the dood dont make em anymore.

good work ,without the exhaust from a clevo getting close to the slave ,i shouldnt have to flip or bend the line cause the exhaust is on the other side

well im selling the xg as there is too much to swap over,keen to get a xd-e-f ute -
can a non power steering box be bolted to a p/s colum ? i once converted a non p/s xe to p/s and found i needed the correct colom but what about the other way around ? i think i read somewhere on here that you can colaspe the std colom a tad to mate with the p/s gear,i wish i new this b4,reason i ask this the crossy im putting in the ute and can really do without p/s as its only gunna be a drag car,and save a few kg's,but what about the steering colum ?

if its the same slave then it should be spot on ,but probly a xa /xb style line ,if they are similar to the xd/xe one,the xa master cyl v8 sticks out at a bit of an angle compard to the xd/xe or the other way around but fittings are the same.

i found a early bell with single rail bolt pattern,also has the passenger side fork and slave holes,i bought it after doing some research,it seems the real deal,i will get it next week and put some pic's,will drop it down to ol.m8's and get it cleaned,then start to order the goodies to go with it,im assuming its the same hyd line as a v8 and slave plus master,chime on in if its different.
