the bloke reckond its a hybrid box later valve body ,breather on top.another thing my mate who works at a tranny shop and worked for ford back in the day,reckons our 302c, c4 panfills are a little different to the yank ones ,i must ask him about that one.

ok thanks I found a 1970 c4 today that was behind a 351 Windsor was a casefill but still had the 24 spline but could be that hard to find one ?

i spoke to tighe in brizzy and he said 020 will be fine for start up and then check when hot to see which way they need adjusting,

the single rail is back fully rebuilt now time to play with bellhousing

yeah i noticed a fair bit of play in the pushrod was wondering about that but i have only done hyd settings b4 solid is new to me

why is it that the exhaust gaskets only fit one way one is reversed is that ok or is there a extractor gasket available ?

yes but what box is it ?

if your going to use the aussie speed heat soaker plate approx 8mm you will need longer intake bolts,and for some reason the first bolt hole is a but tight for a normal type bolt head,so i will use a allen key one with a very small spacer.Normal bolts will be fine if only using a gasket.

i cleaned and painted the bellhousing

i havent bought that gear yet but probly the blue msd epoxy coil and the red msd 6 as described in the tfi thread the streetfire is about $250 cheaper but what the hell another 2 or 300 bucks buys the good gear,all up the ignition is gunna be about a grand

ok so it could be the select shift c4,i was just reading a couple of mustang sites and the 200 c.i engine i think has the same bellhousing as our's but the 250 or 300 c.i has the v8 pattern,im going out to the garage to look at the codes
