im finding myself buying a new socket or tool every few weeks for the correct job ,last week i needed a deep socket for the screw in studs on the crossflow head.

you need a 13 mm spanner and 48,859,687 small turns to get the door bolts off,either way you do it just support the door from the start ,i shimmed cardboard on top of the milk crate or some type of stool and rest the door in the middle to avoid dropping and scratching,then just move door away from car on the crate wack out your pin and fit new bushes with a flat hammer of some type,the new pins are so easy to fit and then push on your clips to hold the pin ,bolt door back on and thats it,i have done a few and never needed to re alighn the door.

yes the pin will come out but in the kit you get new bushes which can only be fitted when the door is totaly taken off see picture in begining of thread

yeah you could do that,or just slide a milk crate under the door when you take it off just for support and 2 people to put back on really helps as by yurself is not impossible but temper testing

yup you unbolt da fooka and pop the door off then bash the old pin out because you now have room,all up 10 mins work

or an old big nail

The thing is that a early 1930's mercedes actualy had this ,it was foot activated and only came on at w.o.t.,supercharged foot activated you can probly google it,i might be wrong on year model bit its real,im sure thats where kenedy/miller idea came from.

yeah thats what im saying the starter is in a different position and fits other u.s. models

yes the neat n tidy look always looks smart i just orderd some efi bosch leads in black with grey plug covers ,next is find someone to make the 3 pins with some length of wire to hook into the side of the dizzy,then buy the blue coil and msd box,then ,then ,then then it never ends

good info dean i was wondering about height or just get slightly longer leads i have got my eye on some eagle 9mm or is it any benifet goung 10 or 11 ?

on ordering leads i need the efi crossflow leads to go on the tfi style dizzy is that correct ? or is just the difference on what cap you run

i havent bought a carby yet for my crossflow but i would consider that self tune holley efi i wonder how much it is.

i found an original 6cyl clutch bearing with carrier ,was very hard to find,new old stock,cant wait until it gets here to sus it all out,crazy what is that csc your talking about

i unscrewed the oil mod line and will get another fitting a bit taller,also re-did the roller rockers to 008 010 clearance,put the belt on just to line up the pulleys and alt,waiting for a intake gasket to come to fit the manifold.

i put the box aside and continue on with the engine.

there is a xy-xc bearing and i reckon its the right one,will ring em tomorrow .

i did that on the last t5 problem,i just had another look at it the fork is correct for that bell as it has a pivot mark line in the fork which when in position lines up perfect with the pushrod,i think that bearing i have may be not the right one but when i orderd it ,they said it suits 6 and 8 cyl >??? all i need is the bearing clip fork holders to be 1cm further in ,and it will be 100% so i will look soon for another bearing they should make one FBJ bearing.

lines up spot on in that shot but hmmmmm
