So my dreams of a crow 14650 hyd and mods might not be too good at the strip ?

yeah for the last couple of months i have been reading so many,but it seems everyone has their favourite head to play with,i have 3 ,a e2, a e1 and the one on my 250 xe 82 model which i am still to see what it is but from what i have read its a c1 i think but when it comes out i will decide which one to spend money on.

Im starting to catch on with these crossflow heads i just cleaned one up i got during the week,its an e2 with aprox 50cc i measured it.

ok because i have the chance of getting 2 xf dizzy's ,very cheap i have seen em they look very good,i also have the stock dizzy in my xe carby,but with a build in mine soon should i grab these 2 other grey late dizzy's ? i grabbed everything else during the week i may as well get em ?

Guys what dizzy is better the grey xf type or xe ? and do they fit in the same block ect ,cheers.

Where abouts does the efi cover need to be ground a bit to fit on the carby set up.or if your using a aftermarket manifold and say a 2 barrel holley maybe this mod isnt needed ?

I think Aussie speed does a 6mm and a 10mm alloy spacer

my first experiance fitting a set of 2v extractors was parking the xb over a large drain ,jumping down the hole while a mate was helping guiding the headers to the bolt holes LOL,omg.

I spent hours digging in the wrecking yard today and found a heap of goodies to pick up on thursday,3 x efi crossy covers in good nik,1 set xf extractor's,1 x e1 alloy head,1x e2 alloy head,1 x xe ghia bonnet stashed away but needs a bit of work,plus heaps of other stuff like badges ,i was hoping to find some esp stuff but no luck,i see so many ea to au stuff there,but xd to xf has really dried up.

Hey guy's does the EFI alloy rocker cover fit on any crossflow or is there some mods needed ?

OK all this info is really good,so it seems to build the worlds most powerfull crossflow,a big turbo efi set up or 4/71 blower drive system,im really only interested in a drag racing engine as this type of motor is not a daily ,what is the most hp anyone has achieved from a wild crossy ? 500-600 hp ?

ok can my carby 82 engine be converted to killer efi or should i just get a series 2 ,86 xf type engine or whole car to start this project ?

yes i have had a quick look at this before,nice ! because mine is carby could i use the 6boost or vine manifold with a set up like yours with the intercooler ect,then a blow thru on to 4 barrel manifold and carby ? or is efi the only way to go with turbo's,i have read something about later alloy heads having the bosses for efi in them even thou they were carby model's,mine is a webber std.

is your motor efi or carby ?

Thankyou xpt,if you go on vines website,there is many pic's of manifolds and intakes for the crossy and even a twin turbo efi manifold which quite a few xf's got back in the day,and some good viewing at older ait set up's,im going to look at that 6 boost manifold your talking about.ok i only found a manifold for the ba bf and fg not crossflow ? or will they make one upon order ?
