cause i have always chucked the crossy in the bin to fit the clevo in my cars over the years but i find it interesting that so many different heads and cc sizes and combo's on the crossy,im bored with clevo's ive had heaps of em over the last 20 years,im gunna build the crossy out of the xe and put it into a drag car only, thats why im interested,i have to spend $20,000 on a clevo to be competitive ,but with the crossy i can save thousands and clown around with it,to me its just something to keep occupied in the garage, and now there is quite a bit of stuff to bolt on these motors now so im learning as much as possible.

what brand of cam is it ?
-
i will call it the cross boss
-
yeah i have seen these ,quite cheap !,hhmmmm eerrr, maybe ? imagine 2 of these on a crossy LOL
-
just about finished ,its a real challenge when you start with just a block and have to buy every nut and bolt and the correct brackets and air-con bits, but its almost ready for fittment just need a carby ,still deciding what to run ,more than likely just a 600 vac ,because i just cruise in this car ,its to good to thrash,it has air and steer.

could a small dent in my alloy EB tailshaft cause any vibration ? or unbalance cause the vibration demon has come back to haunt me but its only at around 30kph then dissapear's ? -
theres a 5.7 in the precision catlledog
-
im pretty sure i will go for 5.7 dish from precision ,the e2 head or 48cc to 50cc and zero deck will give easy 11'5'1. pump 98 will be fine ,everytime someone throw's there 2 cents worth in i grab the compression calcuator and yup it's fun !

some really crazy sounding engine's
-
I was on you tube last night and these crazy spanish or mexicans were into these ols falcons from the 60.s putting highly worked i6's in em check this motor i took a pic of its probly a 200 0r 250 pre crossy
-
im not sure what my xe has, it's a 82 leaded one.
-
i have several heads here to play with,e1,e2,and the xe one,and then pistons to suit when i decide a combo.
-
what sought of fuel would this crazy crossy suit meth or e85 or maybe something else, this is not a daily, just a drag engine
-
what comp ratio will E85 handle up to ?
-
or use flat top.s ,by the compression calcuator if you take away cc's the comp rise's
-
To get to around 13:1:1 = a 40cc head,10cc dish,0 deck,30thou bore,will a head cop that much of a shave ?.
