nah just machining the edges and lip because it looks shithouse,the clear coat has come off and bubbled ,i have orderd the factory gold paint and will be lookin awsome soon.

IM cleaning my ESP rims and getting new gold paint and getting em machined,and while lookin at the wreckers today grabbed 2 chaser rims

i see its a 3 bolt balancer,or is that just for the trigger,i thought you were using a ef crank 3 or 4 bolt ?

Looks like thats the street series and the other one just a factory replacement,its a 4 bolter as well !There is also a 1 pulley powerbond as well.

What are the good aftermarket balancers and is there any difference between iron and alloy headed engines,also 3 and 4 bolt balancers.

ok so here is 1 small and 1 big w-pump pulley ,and i think the one on the end is a xd power steering pulley or 3rd member

yep sure,im going to look at some pulleys this morning and i will take note of the small snout water pump .

ok good info i can get my hands on a number of pulleys tomorrow i will have a look to see what suits ,so it looks like i need a xc waterpump ,a clevo or sometype of larger pulley,and a larger alternator pulley,and a 4 bolt powerbond balancer,so this 4 bolt balancer will bolt on to my early xe motor ? pretty sure its a 3 bolt ATM ?

ok so it turns the pump slower at a higher RPM,my set up on the crossy is a double belt on the air con water pump and crank ,is it ok just to run 1 belt or better to find the matching 1 belt alternator pulley and crank pulley,as this motor wont have the a/c connected back up as i plan to only run the track.

ok cheer's,another thing i noticed on ando's motors is that the water pump pulley is bigger ,is that just a clevo one or something else.

On a worked crossy would a 3 bolt powerbond be ok on my engine,or should i step up to a 4 bolt ,but will i have to change crank ? or is there an adapter to fit my xe crank.

ok i have read somewhere the xf has a 4 bolt balancer.

the older cast iron ones had a 3 bolt starter eg'' 1966 mustang,the one in this picture is out of a 1982 usa fairmont with a c5 trans,as this should fit a later c4-c10 trans,i want to buy this one to save weight and also fits the later c4 26 spline. -

I did a bit more research on the alloy c4 inline 6 bellhousings and found the starter is further down see picture,not a big one if your getting custom exhaust made. -
ok i will ask 'em ,cause a fmx 2200 or 2500 or bigger is about $400 plus so let's see when i drop it off.

can the tranny shop get a bit more stall out of my std converter ? i think the std stall is about 1700rpm
