The yella terra bolt ons will be fine for mild performance with a roller or flat tappet hyd cam of around 224 deg at 50thou ,a cam this size starts to wake an engine up.

baahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaa my mate who owns a machine shop wanted to charge me $250 per head to accept 7/16. cleveland ???????????
-
What about those 5-16th studs with the 7-16th thread to bolt fully adjustables on them crane do a kit for about $300 comes with guide plates, but once again it all boils down to mild performance, what shits me is yella terra LS bolt ons are only $500 and clevo are $7-800 ? .

We exported the 2 door commo to the u.s for there cop cars and they called em some other name like the chevy parisite or something (lol) so we should call the mustang the new ford falcon hardtop, like what they did with the challenger and mustang ,make a whole new macho falcon coupe.
-
Those mid lift rockers are all discontinued ,and says they are bang for buck rollers ? and havent been made since 2002 except for some 1.6 windsor or chev, nothing for cleveland, but back to the topic ,crossy rockers bolt on.5/16 ths
-
So does ford still keep the name FALCON maybe for a import car to serve us here.
-
good to no,i will stick with y/t.
-
It will sought of be like that era again after the falcon is gone with nissan xf utes and mazda tx-5's ? Then ford put the 5.0L in the eb and thought eerrr we should av kept the v8 as a option in the xf and ea,honestly a 5.0 windsor roller would have gone so well in a xf ghia or s pack with a t5 .
-
Remember the TX 5 Telstar turbo ,i have not seen one of these for years.
-
OK blown and injected ranger ute !
-
What sought of a car are we going to get to replace the falcon ? just the mustang or does ford intend on carrying on the ute line like they did in the xg-h models.
-
Well spotted ,but it would be spot on 4-1/2 backspce cause my phone was not 100% true on the 3/4 mark.
-
yeas coke sent me a sample box of E85 coke the new green can did a measurement on the back space of a 15 inch chaser rim and they are 3 3/8ths. 15x 6
-
agree, lets see if next year they can the coon on the 28th of june ? Also in 1928 this day was the founding of geelong plant, and we are still using leaf springs in the ute !
-
They are just under 4.5 or +6

With the tiny cam that is in it power is as soon as you touch the gas until 4000 odd, which gerg guessed correct a tow cam and it hauls ass up hills, but down the track i will definatly get a hyd roller 1800-5800 rpm ,alloy intake and roller rockers,5/16 bolt on are ok for mild race and street apps, but once you step up to bigger cams and spring ratings you definatly want 7/16 or 3/8 rockers.
-
After about 1000kms all is good and no real problems except some tiny oil leaks, looking at getting some roller rockers either yella terra or scorpion bolt on's.

i have 2 16inch ford steel 6-1/2 standard rims au onwards offset, could i run them on the back off my xg ute,the offset isnt that bad,or maybe a very small 8mm spacer or something ?
-
I always wonderd why they were getting such high boost and hp figures on their (93 pump gas)
-
The weiand website say's a safe level of boost on pumpgas is around 12.1 total,in other terms a 350 c.i engine running 8.5.1 with 4 psi,but that is with 92 octane, what about our 98 octane gas ,anyone one have a formula ?
-
ok sure ,4 psi on pumpgas doesnt sound like a lot,and i suppose its more for show than go,so with 98 octane 6-8psi shouldnt be a problem with say a 351c with open chamber heads at around 9.1 ,or slot in a set of dished pistons for 8.1 and your boost will be able to be turned up even more.
