Thom im already getting the itch to hot up my xg 4.0L it has the 91aa head and log manifold and has the smartlock,because it is complete should i stick with this and or should i add the bits n pieces in these pages to soup it up ? my thoughts were to stick with this engine and buy a sohc turbo kit and add low comp pistons ect.......12/93 model xg

Does anyone have a inner fiberglass for a right rear bumper for my xg cause the one i took off is stuffed,cheer's.

Hey how much degrees would the advance have on the factory xd-xe dizzy ? i seem to have to put a fair bit of timing into mine for it to go better,it does have a mild cam but nothing outrages,and what should the total timing be 32 -34-36 ? at 3000rpm

ive got their extractors only thing is they are thin on the tube compaird to more expensive ones.

some patient work will do good here,im not intening this to be a all out killer at 7000 plus,just 1500 to 5500 odd with a bigger hyd stick.

Like i said it was so cheap its good to have something to play with,i also bought a set of 1-3/4 headers off them about 6 months ago for my clevo in the xe and noticed that the felpro 2v gaskets didnt match all that well,they do supply their own gaskets with the headers which i had to trim a bit to fit the 2v factory heads,i belive their gaskets are to suit their 3v stuff thats why they look bigger and the same with the headers,the flange looks like a D shape exhaust port like the ford 4v iron head,tomorrow i will put some more pic's of the inside of the runners but it looks quite alright,i will use this manifold with a larger hyd cam ,buy some y/t roller rockers,and will install in a few months.

Yes mate 4 times I had the diff apart 3.27 but I am talking about a fmx not a b/w gearbox which has the tooth on the drivers side,here in oz I don't think the fmx ever came out with any rear end gears over 3.00,that's why a 21 tooth is the most you can get for a fmc -

I tried a 21 tooth green in the borgy 35 and it was still 10kms out,thats why i need a 22 or 23 only other option is to run a 21 and some taller tyres. -

3.27 and i think its a 20 tooth -
These rockers are out of a late unleaded engine, but have 3 different numbers stamped on them,are all crossy rockers the same,or do some vary slightly ?

last engine i had 562 inlet 588 ex hyd and that was about the biggest i could find and it got eaten in 8000km

I have read there are limitations to flat tappet lift,like very steep lobes tend to dig in after a while ,so i was thinking around 530-550 lift max for a hyd flat,when i upgrade from the small one im running atm.Also price is good cam and lifters,but go roller and price goes way-up.
