-
is this only a xf onwards option ?
-
i will just buy a new set of 5's and give them a go.

what is the best method to cleaning plug's,gerg im running BP6FS is that the norm for a street engine,i see you have 4's
-
um errrr thats exactly what i did, maybe thats why it aint runnin good
-
seems better now,no fuel dripping in,another question once plugs are fouled are they still good if they are re-cleaned ? or should you just get a new set.
-
yes true,to check cruise and normal driving cond, disconnect the secondaries and just drive around on the primarys for a bit then read the plugs for correct jetting under normal driving,i will give it a go soon.
-
2 of the plugs were still fouled after the first clean, now will give it a start and go from there ,check the float again and idle mixture.
-
Yeah it was on a slight angle,i will check it again today on the flat garage.

I bent the guard back into place and and lightly hammerd the edge in ,even after a small drive with with no big bumps i felt a small rub,so new springs and proper wheel alignment should bring it back into form,i might even put the super pro bump stops or glue the oem ones back, after the taller springs are put in i will sus it out. -
note my 4 holes are all the same size and the 2 front ones on ford mans are just a tad smaller this is the way they came from the factory same as the 4v headed one too, when i bought my manifold the bloke said he spent $100 at a machine shop to mill the holes all the same size ???? there must be a reason why ford did this so 2 were a tiny bit smaller.
-
can anyone note the difference between my manifold and FORD-MANS ?

When i buy my lows i will consider putting in a set of those nice koni set's ,i dont think you can get the bilsteins that were originaly fitted to xd-xe any more unless you get them re -done. -

i pulled into the servo on a left hand turn because my eyes nearly fell outa my skull when i saw 99c a litre,so i put 20bucks 95 octane for a cane-ing for 20 mins ,and herd this weird noise -not happy jan. -

since i chopped the bump stops there must be more travel now,so yeah only there on the bottom of the guard i can fix,i will be ordering just 30mm low springs which will give me a bit more clearance and shock travel. -

Dam it went down further and chewed the guard as they were not lipped,im definatly going to higher springs. -
