716 is female and 717 is male i think,i have been through this as well,the problem is these parts places just give it to you because they think ah they all work the same just different numbers,,i sent mine back as well it was for late model mitsubishi,inow have the correct 717,

use a ed wagon or ute diff,28 spline axels,4 pinion,and flange connection,try and get the tailshaft as well,or ute,even late model wagon.

check the wiring connections as i had a similar problem once,im usung the 717 also with a e bay dizzy all went together very easy,contact dsm motorsports at harris park in sydney he makes and sells all that clevo gear.

A few months ago i saw right at the back of a black hole in the wreckers shed a borgy gearbox and didnt think to much of it,but after speaking to transmission shop he said the tc/xb single rail is a close ratio box he said you have bucklys of finding one of these lying around so i dug around crap for 30mins to get to this box which i reckon was hidden and the fooker was only a 3 speed lol.

I bought the t5 out of an xg with the 4.0L bell,but what is this other t5 i took the bell off it hoping it fits a crossy ? can anyone identify it,the t5 box it came off had a slightly different input nose on it and the speedo drive was different ,on the bell it says t5 ford or m20 help please.

There is a wrecking yard that wants $550 for one and you get the t5 and crossy for free (lol),i will check today the single rail 6cyl width .

ok good info ,i also have a borgy 200 c.i box here that has a alloy bell,i wonder is that worth a shot ? for weight savings.

ok thanks ,but i wonder will a crossy be any different to that v8 thread,i might take the bell off tomorrow and take a look,can anyone tell me were the factory t5 crossy bells alloy or iron ?,cheer;s.

i have 2 crossy borgys here maybe i should redril one ? can you still keep them as a single rail if you re-drill the 1 hole ? is there a thread on the crossy t5 bell mod,i no gerg had a v8 one.i have quite a few boxes here at the moment i could drill.

yep thats right but i cant find one,the wrecker wanted $550 for one i thought that was a bit crazy,dellow or the rod shop can do a new one for about $650 even crazier,i will keep looking for a 2nd hand one if anyone will sell one.

i bought the xg box ,shifter and boot,ect,all from ute,pedals,tailshaft and a few other things,not sure what to put it behind but more than likely the cleveland or crossy turbo down the track,i have the banana crossmember,so all should fit in a xe .

i sold it,and bought a different one.

I just took delivery of the cheap speedmaster single plane manifold and at first glance it looks pretty good,for $98 new im gunna take a gamble on it,also comes with intake gaskets,and looks pretty much like the weiand accelerator 2v,also has undrilled bosses in the runners to put NOZ or injection ???.i expect to clean it up inside with the dremel drill so i will sus it out.
