    gas research wiring diagram

Did you replace/repair the wiring to the boot. Deankdx's pic is correct except it should be lock-offs (plural). There's a lock off on the tank. It's probably obvious but I thought I'd mention because you seem like a novice with gas. There should be a 2 core wire running from the the back of the car. One for the lock off and the other for the fuel level. Although given the peel box you have you may be using a gauge interface in the boot and jumping on to the fuel gauge wiring there, which is pretty standard for straight gas. gas research wiring diagram

No problem. Questions: 1. Is it duel fuel? 2. Is it closed loop? 2b. If it's closed loop, what closed loop controller is it? 3. Is that a peel CP30? Sent from my MI 5 using Tapatalk
  3. Is there a coilover available for the XE-AU coil rear end? I can't seem to find anything. I'm thinking i'll have to send some heights and measurements to some manufacturers but surely I'm not the first on chasing this? I'd like bump, rebound and height adjustment if it can be done. I don't know what spring rate is in the ballpark either. Can anyone fill me in?

    smoking after oil change!

Penrite HPR5 works well too. You can often get it for ~$40 for 6L too if you keep your eye out. The heavy stuff is robbing you of power and fuel economy.

    smoking after oil change!

That oil is wrong. Drop it and put 5.5L of something lighter in it. I run 10w-30 in the 3.9 and I've run 0w in crossflows before. The issue sounds like PCV. Make sure the valve works and was plumbed correctly after the head was changed.

    WIDEBAND AIR/FUEL GUAGE

I've got a LMA-3 logger and LC-1 wideband. I've also just bought the pocket logger, arrived last friday but didn't have time on the weekend to install it. Here's my AFR target table on the J3 tuning spreadsheet for the 3.9 with EL ECU I've been putting widebands in cars for years. I recommend it, it's way easier with the logger and logging it against vacuum and throttle position. My LMA-3 is set up at the moment to log vehicle speed, wideband, engine vacuum, throttle position, rpm and I've just received my pressure transducer so i can log the fuel pressure also.

    Tyre life

I've never really got into tyres. I've got round black ones on the benz. They light up pretty easy and can even hit 80km/h through the roundabout on Newcastle link road (if anyone knows that). I think I paid about $450 for all 4. 255/45r18 on the front and 255/45r18 on the back. Brand is tracmax... Can't see where they're manufactured. Sent from my ASUS_Z00A using Tapatalk
