heres my current headliner, you can see now why i want it gone! i liked the stripe that i have put into it but its stretched and ripped by people taking it out and putting it back in again. not to mention i couldn't get it under that rear seal! haha. aaaaaand heres my new xh molded one! heres hoping i'll be able to make it work! haha. the plan is to rewrap it in a vinyl or some other material, i'll figure it out when i get there.

yeah i'll have to have a better look under it. i'm going back to see the guy who i'm buying these parts off tommorow and i might be getting his carpet off him as well which means mine will have to come out and i'll plan it all then.

hey guys, i'm just looking at buying some buckets from a mate and i was just wondering if anybody has any advice because i doubt it will be a simple bolt in job.

she's a 91 so i would have the updated floorpan but i also think i only have four holes in the floor meaning i would need to make more to make them fit any way, and if i did that would i have to tap a thread into them to be able to use proper seat bolts, or could i just use a nut on the other side?

just got myself an XH roof liner, a few more materials and i can out my plan into action

I'm going to hit the local wreckers tommorow and see what they have lying around, i also know a mate who recently drove his mint XH into the front of a house, so that mint car is now being parted out and I think i might take all of the interior out of it to replace my broken old shitty plastics

yeah i hear you! I found it properly difficult to get the soft headliner back under the rear window rubbers, such a pain in the ass

yeah I thats one issue i'll have to work out. I'll do some measuring and see if it will fit, otherwise i could maybe do some reshaping. hmmm i wonder if my friends who own alpha Motorsport would make me one out of carbon fiber or fiberglass haha.

so do the XH's have the solid headliner do they? if so thats awesome, i should be able to make that work the way i want it too

I know the owners personally and they are awesome people!!

all I know is that on the unregistered vehicle permit it said "TAC class of vehicle, good carrying up to 2 tonnes capacity". thats all i have to go off haha

but if you try to lower with the six leaf springs you won't be happy. i took mine down 2 and a half inches and it's pretty high at the back still haha. plus it rolls over bumps rather than working like suspension should haha. it's very scary when you hit a bump at high speed with a very solid rear end!

you will still be able to put a load in the back for sure, but the limit will be a lot smaller considering the stock six leafs are made for one over one tonne. (XF's are rated for two tonne capacity! )

i doubt they would be. as soon as you remove leafs you remove strength

with mine all i did was chop the front springs and put 2 and a half inch blocks on the standard 6 leaf springs. I don't recommend either of these things haha. now im putting wagon three leafs in the rear to soften it up and replacing the front springs eventually for 'Cut free' ones. im also cutting the bump stops a little as they hit, but my ute is pretty low at the front

im so sick of webers at the moment. iv'e had three of them, all of them have been shit and they are bastards to tune. the local ford garage told me that they have a customer who brings his xf in every week to have the weber retuned haha. so yep im looking for a holley

putting it in the console actually isn't a bad idea, too bad i don't have one haha

im glad you like it im going to change it soon though. im going to get some sheetmetal and make my own facia will be be a lot neater than this one, as this one actually leaves a gap on the right side and hangs down to far. i also want to make a new faceplate to go over where the ash tray used to be, and ill be moving the ciggy lighter, and im going to change the heater/ ac control surround as well. and ill either paint it body colour since i did my interior handles in envy or a metalic black

the front shocks are brand new monroe GT's so nope haha. i have a suspicion that the bump stops may need modifying however haha

all my mates are asking me if i want to go out and 'skids'. i still think a skid is something a kid leaves in his undies.
