Just by thinking about it, im leaning towards going AN10 fittings. Buy 2 3/8 NPT - AN10 adaptors as i cant find any 3/8 NPT - AN12 adaptors. EDIT: What size of cooler should i go?

Picked up my adaptor kit today, it came with 3/8 NPT x 1/2 hose barb fittings (Good size or should i go with bigger fittings?) Bought some hose and hydraulic fittings as well.

From memory they are 3/8 UNC, try national nuts and bolts on fyans st in sth geelong.

XH cable as they still use the "umbrella" handbrake setup, you'll also need a new brake hose made up with a metric T block with an imperial fitting on the end that threads into the hardline on the body.

It could be the TFI module. pull it off, put some hi temp paste on (you can buy it from electronic stores, apply the paste to the side that contacts the distributer) and see if that helps. If it doesn't buy a new one.

I used the EF-EL amp in my ute to run a 6.5" sub, does the job fine.

Hey fella's Back in 2011 4 months after i did the manual conversion i broke a clutch cable (pedal was too high and stretched) well almost 3 years later i broke another one. (both cables broke at the clutch fork end) Has anyone had issues with routing the cable though the crossmember on unleaded models? (Post 1986) everytime i i route it though it always kinks the shit out of it. Pic's of other ways of routing the cable would be greatly appreciated This cable was new when i bought it, pedal height was correct too!!! Also, has anyone had clutch forks crack on them? When i changed the box over i noticed a crack in the clutch fork (where that rubber hook sits in the fork on unleaded models)

Try lowering the pedal a little bit, i bought a new cable for mine and im still fucking around with the adjustment. Clutch pedal stop?

Yep time for a new one, Sunbury brakes sell great clutches. Dean has a few from them and never blew one up, I bought one and its great!!! How high is the pedal chris?

Hey fella's I've been wanting to do the Vac Advance distributer conversion for a while now so i've figured that its about time, now my question is (and its a dumb one so bear with me) but all i have to do is run 2 wires from the distributer to the coil right? I want to ditch the EST setup as it doesn't like the cam i put in when i rebuilt the engine.

I used TRW in the XD, ford used TRW from factory TRW bits are pricey but i reckon that they are worth it.

I've decided to put an XH headliner in my XD ute, to pull the headliners out of XD-early XG utes (in one peice without cutting it that is) the rear window has to comeout.

Dellow make the bellhousing to suit, along with the spigot bearing and clutch disc (you just bolt your pressure plate to dellows conversion disc). It'll be auto for now as the donor car i picked up is auto, i was thinking the toyota box "just" to be different, i'll ask neil (rocket) about the toyota box conversion he did in his XF ute.

So it looks like the TKO 500 is the way to go, but what about the toyota boxes? like the steel case celica box (W50) and the supra boxes (W55-W59)???

carby models had steel fans, EFI had plastic. my XF is a 92 model and it had the plastic fan, i switched to the steel fan as the plastic ones are more noisey than steel ones.
