Can't help you with your question specifically,but is it tru that king springs are softer than factory? -

Plasma cutter and a steady hand,sorta just gonna use the bell housing as an outside template,locate the plate on the dowels,spot the bolt holes thru the bell housing and drill them on the bench drill,then plot the input shaft and starter motor holes.we do have a radius cutting attachment so shouldn't be a hassle,just a bit of math.
