I assumed it was the gearbox because I don't remember hearing the noise while it had an auto box in it.

While the gearbox is under load (driving along) there is no noise. It only comes out when you remove your foot off the accelerator and coast like when you are approching a red light and it is only in 4th gear. It doesn't matter what speed you are doing

I already have lowered springs on my 6 cylinder xf sedan, but it still sits too high at the back. Anyone know what springs will bring the back down so that the top of the tyres are level with the rear guard? Photo's would be nice so I can check out the stance....

Any one know how to remove the headrests from XF bucket seats without wrecking them?

Does anyone know where to get the rubber boot that fits over the selector on a T5 gearbox?

Where can you buy the circular rubber boot that fits over the selector and what is it called. Mine has perished and needs replacing before refitting to my XF.
