Does any one know how to remove the plastic moulds around the rear screen in an XF ute. Tried prying them off with a flat head screw driver and can't budge them. Thanks in advance

Thanks bigpaulo. Didn't think it would be too easy. Luckily, the rear window has to come out anyway to remove some rust and the rear vent windows are easy to remove.

XH mirrors look good on an XF.

All the little metal threaded thingoes behind the rear screen of my xf ute are loose and pull out. Does anyone have the same problem and if so, how did you fix it?

Quick question guys. Are the sender fuel sender units in xf sedan the same as the xf ute

WTF is Tanbark pin stripe? I have the same trim code.

Don't know if xg tailgate is the same but Wagoon is stripping an xg ute and the tailgate looks ok.

Only my opinion but I beg to differ guys. I have put the phase 5 rearwing and bonnet scoop on my XF sedan and I think it looks good. I was contemplating putting 2" flares on it as well but have yet to find the time. I know it isn't everyones cup of tea, but hey, it's a personal choice. DO IT

Went to start XF before and nothing. Everything is dead. Battery has heaps of spark. Any ideas on WTF is going on ?

And the answer is..........battery fucked itself. Charged it for 2 days and only held enough charge to turn it over a few times. Off to get a new battery today

Has been running since the conversion. Was running fine 6 weeks ago and now nothing. Fusible links look fine

Not sure if it matters, but I have recently converted it from auto to manual.

By everything I mean everything. No dash lights, no headlights, no interior lights, no horn, not a fucking thing. I'm starting to hate this fucking thing. Have charged battery but no help.

Back to the original question. Anywhere know of anywhere in Brisbane that can do it??

When I did my T5 conversion, I had the same problem. Mine was an XF to Xf conversion. It was fine in the first XF. I just adjusted mine and let it be.

Has anyone put 2 bucket seats in the back of an x series falcon instead of the full width seat?

Just put a t5 in my XF and when driving along in 4th when you take your foot of the accelerator and coast in traffic, there is a whine in 4th gear. It wasn't like this when it was in my other falcon. Any ideas??

Used Dex11 ATF as per the service manual.

Put in new spigot and oil is brand new. New clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. I only noticed the noise on Saturday. I will have to jack the car back up and recheck the oil level in the gearbox and check the diff as well. The oil that came out of the box when I removed it from my other XF was a good colour as well.
