god damn brought a kit from a shop in lilydale. $92 later got my kit thought ohwell i wanted it now. and it must be allright for that price. opened the kit and it needed more shit! so got a couple relays a couple fuses and a bit of heatshrink a bit more wire. but eventually i got all the wiring loom sorted.ohwell atleast i got a nice little temperature adjuster. lol allmost thing the el fans keep my car too cold they smash the temp down fairly quickly.

ohwell bit of an expensive exercise. ill be getting the kit xes got next time.

Something about a bolt /plug on the drivers side near the back is the identifier isnt it?

Is there any easy way to tell the difference?

Have seem a lot about wet on wet painting, does it come up good enough? Would the base dry properly underneath?

Any idea which diff hats are different Thom?

Also, Crazy, some diffs (EF-EL possibly from memory? Its e series for sure) have numerous holes to put the standard bottom arms in, which alters pinion angle also.

How you planning on keeping the sand/garnet clean and under control? Planning on recycling it like in an abrasive blasting cabinet?

Hey mate, going to be needing a chip soon for my EF 4.0L engine that I'll be putting into my XF, what sorta figures am I looking at for the chip and software to tune it? Can it be programmed to disable smartlock and all that crap by me or do you have to do that? Also, can a chip be reprogrammed or is it a one use only kinda deal? Cheers

Heat gun is fine on about half temperature at about 6inches away. Dont need to get the sticker super hot, just warm.

The hiace/hilux has falcon stud pattern and stuff doesn't it? How does everyone else do the 5 stud conversion, modify a falcon diff?

Heat gun to help peel the striping off then use some prepsol or wax and grease remover to remove any left over glue residue. The paint under the stripe will be a fair bit brighter, depending how long it has been on there, so give the car a full cut and polish (what a good excuse to get it looking smick again!)
