Costco do a real good one for $160 i think it was, if you have one near you. Fully ally, bout 1500-2000kg from memory. I use mine for everything and havent had a problem. I race speedway so use it a fair bit.

Cool thanks mate. Have to put up with it for another couple of months then, all good
-
Any idea how long til they be avaliable again Cav? I'll try ring around and find some stock i guess.
-
Whats that rear bar off, ea?
-
That is interesting. I changed from log manifold to bbm on my speedway engine and gained about 10kw and a shitload of torque, odd.
-
Ahhh that sucks dude!
-
Yeah, that looks horn!!! Billet is always fuckin nice!
-
I'd be able to recreate them from a sample also.

I've just gone from 2.92 to 3.45 in my XF. Speedo was perfect with the 2.92's and now reads about 12-14kmh above what i'm actually doing. Anyone got any idea how to rectify this problem? Cheers

I prefer to know what speed im actually doing rather than trying to remember that it always reads higher haha
-
Yeah its a bit annoying sometimes though. Haha. Was driving along earlier doing 75 on the speedo and was only just doing 60 haha
-
Just ordered a grey 22 tooth gear off ebay, thanks fellas
-

Knox carpets in vic have good rep
-
Where'd you go mate? I seen mount barker was rained out, there was a few others in wa that got rain too i think
-
Hahaha it would do! I like the sound of my car just smashing the limiter flat out but its not going to help win races haha
-
For something that size in my car (EF with 4L injected) i'd deffinately be starting with 3.08
-
Yeah thats getting very high up there for a crossflow! Chuck a 3.08 in it and try that. Would be good to know the box ratio too though, its a pain with single rails because theres 163946 different ones hahaha
-
Most run a T5 in ef onwards. And either T5 or getrag in the commodores.
-
Final drive = gear ratio in box x diff ratio then you just finely tune it with tyre sizes
-
Depends on the tracks you go to as to what ratio to run. I've got 4 or 5 different ratios that i use depending where i go. Maybe try speak to a few other guys and find out what final drive they run?

I'll message you his details later tonight if you like mate. Good tyres deffinately help, is he running 14" or 15" rims?
