The reason it wasn't running right will be because you have covered up the air bleeds with that top piece, I had to modify mine so that the carb would work properly. An earlier weber would have been better to use as it wouldn't have the tube in the top, I cut one side of the throttle shaft off mine (screw sat flush on the throttle plate) and used button head screws. I milled the top of mine, had Holley jets in it, bored and then sleeved the base plate to take 350 Holley throttle plates and I made a top for mine so that I could bolt a Holley air cleaner on. I will see if I can send you some pics of the one I did.

If anyone is looking for an ICE Ignition system I've got one I plan on selling that has only done 3 race meetings in one of my old speedway cars, 7 amp module, pro coil, voltage booster, dizzy and wiring harness.

Duckboy you are probably right and that may come at a later date, I'm a very understated sort of person, I don't want to talk myself up until I prove to myself that the work I do works, this arrangement with Wolfy works for me at this point in time because after spending all my money on the tools I'm broke hahahaha, this work I'm doing is a no financial cost to me deal, just my time as Wolfy pays for anything I want to try and he owns the local wreckers and I am able to get parts as I wish, I needed a couple of holleys to cut up and fuck around with so he gave me some, so really my research is costing him money at this point of time but I think it will work out for him in the end. I'm starting small and earning nothing at the moment but hopefully my work will prove itself and I can start earning some cash doing this for others.
Wookie it is my pleasure to share these things with everybody, I am happy to give some tips that people can try at home for minimal outlay that I can prove on the flow bench, I know what it's like to have zero budget LOL Hopefully karma works for me and I get some work out of this.

If you really want to get your name out there you need to get your stuff on a car that races at more tracks around WA or even races nationally, there is plenty of guys that travel all over Australia with production sedans and Modified sedans. Over here the production sedans have races in Portland down the bottom of Vic all the way up to Maryborough in Qld.

Ok I've never heard of him and I know or know of pretty much all the production sedan drivers, I take it he pretty much only does the local shows. I'll be over in WA again this season at Easter for the Modified Aus title in Albany, I was over there for the Production Aus title at Collie last season.

Stop making me feel bad, I wear a T-shirt, shorts and thongs (trackies and mockies for winter) for pretty much everything but occasionally I use safety glasses and the welding helmet.

you are correct Clevo, I use a EF balancer on mine and I had to remove the chopper wheel as it hit the timing cover
