So ill be in the market for a new power steering pump soon and was trying to find a chrome or alloy one in the saginaw style. None of the ones listed on Ebay seem to mention Cleveland engines. Are they all the same or do they have different pressure ratings and thread sizes for the hoses? Or if any one knows where to get one can you point me in the right direction! Cheers!

Not much of a sleeper with that turbo intake for a drivers side headlight! -

This is a repeat of what i put in my project thread just for reference purposes showing the clearances! Ok so i chucked the filter on tonight cause i just couldnt wait. Happy to report that everything clears, throttle linkage and bonnet. The only thing that fouls is the return springs scrape on the underside. Might still have a play round with the return springs cause i do like the look of them on there. Throttle was quite firm but felt ok. Really like they way this is starting to look under here now. I also really like the reflections of the underside of the bonnet on the chrome top of the filter. Tensions building now. Going to put in some long hours and get the rest done so i can here this thing running!

One thing that yanked my chain is they dont supply the center stud and nut for mounting. Obviously thats an extra again!

Looks like a job for Revhead!

Wheels look good on the XE. Certainly no trouble with clearance there.
-
Have you tried explosives?
-
That is correct that they are square head bolts. I found on both the XE and XC the bolts are the same. The little frame they have over the top of the bolt head is useless as fuck anyway and the bolts still spin. If you are going to replace them i would just go with a high tensile UNF bolt anyways and get the ball and chain under the car to tighten them while you lie on the seat and hold the top bolt.

If you are interested, Clark Rubber, sell a carpet in grey and black which is good for cover your box. I used it on mine and it turned out great. Fairly cheap to from memory. Also use a spray adhesive and staple gun to fix it on. Gives a good result.

Id go a twin 2.5" system with custom crossover the diff and exiting through twins at the rear. ( Oh but youll need to chuck a clevo in first!)

I sandblasted mine at home and it came up ok. Little patchey so i sprayed it with aluminium engine enamel and it came up great.
