As long as the radio works all is good.... LOL You have got to remember the old girls never idle as smooth as modern cars..... You can get them pretty close tho with a bit of effort (and luck)..... I can understand the little things getting at you.... My ZL has a few of those..... Fixed one today so 1 down lots to go.....

Yes I would.... but that's me.... I would check over the whole front end first tho before getting it aligned..... My Lane was even on both sides when I bought it... Musta got an odd one lol

haha reminds me of the time of my sons AU... Replaced all the Welsh plugs... 3 days later the metal heater pipe let go..... All off again....

I'm still going with a spark cutout/rev limit set too low.... there are 3 that can be set on the MSD according to their webside......

They use unleaded 91 on 10.3:1 its all in the timing..... E2 is the unleaded head by the way if you didn't know....

Best upgrade would be a 2 barrel as the XD had a higher compression ratio 9:1 versus the XF's 8.8:1 The XD had 94kw and the XF 98kw.... Remember the XD only had a single carb,,,,,

From what I have read E2 head have a lower cc chamber E1 is 57cc E2 is 52cc And if you use the EFI cam you will have to run an electric fuel pump.... The cams in the EFI are slightly milder than there carby breathren....

Sometimes having a softer compound can be a win.... specially hills driving.... The main reason I used to buy them of course was they were cheap and once low cloud activity was created just chuck on another one.... Now I drive umm errr a bit more sensible I buy cleanskins
