Brake pad come loose and the top leans in whilst reversing but not wen going forwards as it will be pushing away. Thats my guess and vibration caused by same thing but thats only guessing mate. Or maybe a rock caught in there or something.

How much oil pressure should a crossflow have on idle?
-
Tappets at 20thou cold but are recommended at 24thou and watever came from the shop i think nasons?
-
Yeah my mine are 2.5 and 3 as well gonna try my 50w brad penn tomorro night and see but if its still no good i will be ripping it out and ill get robs guy to build me a pump. My previous issue was only lost pressure when applying brakes and pickup had 28mm clearance but now has 6-7mm. That was with a mellings pump and this is a new JP pump with the clearances checked and at 2 thou. But no other mods...
-
7.5ltr high energy sump but wat clearance do you run on your mains and bigends?
-
Yeah peak pressure is 45 psi at about 4500rpm as i havent revved past that yet but does go up with revs and i like the sounds of a hobbs switch
-
Cheers guys im gonna stick my racing oil in tomorro night (50w made for higher temp) and see how it goes as id be happy with 15psi warm if no better ill get a new pump built by your guy rob :-)
-
Yeah oil pump was spot on and 50psi but wen i put my racing oil (its a heavier oil for high temps) in wednesday night ill see how it goes but the engine was fairly warm too
-
1300 rpm idle once warm mines sitting at 13psi with all tolerances checked and thats with 15/40 running in oil.

ICE doesnt do a system specific to a crossy, i got a quote off them and they told me to use a TFI dizzy and off them i would get a 2 step setup, coil and leads for $1300. MSD was much the same except i can graph my own timing curves, run a map sensor, boost, NOS watever and for half the price. I would love an ICE ignition setup but really the cost well out ways the gain. Thats just my opinion..

This is the way and the windsors also have them and then hook up a TPS to the carby.

If you were to do both top and bottom then you could run the risk of adjusting the diff one way to far eg. Backwards or forwards but if you do one set your really only changing the pinion angle. Both could be done and lots have done it but you have a bigger margin for error. Thats just my opinion and view but.. -

Not for a falcon but funny enough ive been researching the second setup for the corty. But i wanna do it to the top arms, obviously a different setup but i think the top arms will accomplish more and fix the cortys angle probs.
