Yeah with the amount this engine owes me I cant justify having to go through changing it all again to suit another cam. I want it on the road so I can turn my attention onto the new forced induction motor for the ute lol Over spending money on a 6 cylinder really enjoying working on a clevo again.
-
They go on the engine numbers to find out what literage it is so if you don't tell them they wont know its been changed.
-
Haha I was gonna try another brand cam but I really like this one so gonna stick with it :-)

Green and red on positive and pink/blue on neg and yes swap the wires around on the starter and try.
-
run a wire from the battery to the positive of the coil. See if it starts and runs. Do it quickly and don't leave it running off the battery. Disconnect the wire once you know if it runs or not. If it does then its a power supply problem. You may have the wire on the starter in the wrong place if it has 2 prongs.

Ahh not near me then lol

Where abouts are you located?

We sell the Aeroflow ones with GM pumps yes. I cant remember thread wise. I can give you a definate answer on monday wen im back at work. You need to buy a pulley for the GM pump seperate too as they dont need a puller to come off. A billet one looks the goods on the chrome pump ;-) -
Question on Cleveland Saginaw Power steering pumps.
Tyler06 replied to hendrixhc's topic in Cleveland
Theere is quite a few different ones with there being ford and GM variants as well. We sell GM ones as they come in Chrome. They bolt up no probs to clevos using most aftermarket brackets but unsure if you can use the standard clevo brackets on a GM one. -
Is there a guide for dummys on head flow and engines
-
Gotta ask this, ive seen 238cfm at 6k claimed. Wat needs to be done to get this? Im not technically savvy wen it comes to the flowing side and thats why im asking..
-
Perfect thing to say dude. For an engine that has made the power it has the only thing that has let it down is consistent bad oil pressure. Hoping for an engine that lasts more than 800kms this time which is its record not to mention the looks it gets from 60k cars that get blitzed lol

I can tell you now that head cost me $1950 plus parts and 2 date it owes me $3500 and thats with 2 different people working on it not just one. I am extremely saddened by wat it flows but I should say I have always known they were multigroove valves but I was under the impression I had 1.86in and 1.56 ex. The work Shaun is doing now coupled with all the new valve train will make it an easy $4500+ Head but with the power it made before coupled with the new work it shall be singing. A big thanks to Ando76 as well who is providing help and advice in the background. Sly im gonna stick with the same solid cam. I really loved the way it drove and sounded before. Hopefully the EDM lifters will help it last this time around.

And I also give wen it comes to stuff I know haha
