Yep thats how its done ;-)

You cannot just use a saginaw pump either unless it already has one? They came with a c2 pump and different bracketry. To buy the gear all new its like $500 inc a GM chromed new pump, a pulley to suit and a bracket kit. You can buy all this online probaly cheaper.

PTFE line is what im using :-)

In WA united is the only place. Heres my fuel pump that arrived yesterday for the change...

Im upgrading my mild crossflow to e85 at the moment. Fuel pump - $490 (other options out there cheaper but I want it to last) Fuel Lines and fittings - $400 give or take, QFT 650 modded for E85 - $350 (you can buy a qft ready to go around $800 or other brands) and a Tune $5-900. So around 2k for my upgrade and I will be using 30% more fuel at $1.56 p/ltr so just on $2p/ltr compared to 98. Im doing it because its a cooler and cleaner fuel. Has more of an octane rating, so those 3 things combined should provide a boost in my torque and power. Even a little bit is good in my books. Plus I can run a fair bit more compression to boost power and torque even more. Cooler engine and higher octane + more timing so it has heaps of benefits in my opinion :-)

On pump 2 secs away lol but id like to get a drum and test them side by side with an ethanol tester...

We sell them at superoo. What state are you in? -
Looking good. Gonna be a one of a kind beast!!
-
Id love to go drum as i hear its more consistent but im gonna say pump as its more convenient.
-
Not a fan of E85? Yeah definately think they should work better lol Also you are right, 2 different concepts and both worked.
-
I had them on my corty for a while. They are wicked pipes. I would of liked to have used them but now im going with E85 fuel i want the bigger primaries to expell the gases quicker. I hope they work out better than the off the shelf hurricanes i have atm lol. I would be interested in doing a back to back test when this motor goes on the engine dyno as soon as its pieced together. Something me and Tim can talk about :-)
-
Nah its just a cam i have kicking around and wondered if it would work with my combo but looking at it more and more i think i might just sell it lol.
-
yep glens old pipes. and i like your thinking.
-
Fuck they were nice looking pipes. Im sure they will be again soon haha
-
Yeah mate its safe and sound at my place :-)
-
My new pipes on the right are off the late dave adams corty..

I only know that the xg/ h stuff is obsolete. Unsure on other barrels.
-
100% obsolete now. We are still waiting on a new manufacturer.
-
Couldn't agree more except for when someone thinks they own the designs for an engine idea and it should not be deviated from when it fails consistently.
-
Too late bro ive been repping that one for 28yrs lol
-
Damn what a great idea. Might have to try it out one day :-)

Hi all, So i just realised ACL went under. I have only ever used ACL Race series gaskets and bearings. What is everyone else using and where do you get them from? I want good quality... Cheers Chris
