It's about the same in SA. Can run 427 etc in AC Cobra's but, on straight Gas. It has to do with emissions, Carbon Monoxide and shit. LPG makes bugger all compared to petrol. In SA, you can get a defect for having a tank in the boot, with the whole Gas set up ripped out !!

Oooooooh, sounds cool.!! How do the ignition leads cope with the extractors up high like that? Any issues?

Yeah, BA XR seats are awesome. Best chairs FoMoCo have made in years.

I love it.............dining table on the front, somewhere to sit when you at the drive in, put your beer on it while youre fixing the engine, bonk ya missus on it.......must have a 100 uses. -
Only the head of the rivet is 10mm. Centre punch, then centre drill, then 10mm bit, get it spot on, and it's easy.

Yeah, man, you're right. A picture tells a thousand words, and it's awesome for reference material. Pictures of worn parts is good for comparison. -

Don't let the boys fire you up, mate. Buy the parts when you can afford them, ask for info and help if needed. Good luck. -
Go the Dave's............

Bearing Services, or (CBC) Consolidated Bearing Company? Take a bearing in, they can measure it, and supply, if you have no luck.

Going back 20 years or so........(I know, old fart) I fitted one on my Fairlane. 351 Clevo. Big coffee can actuator, and a stalk that mounted on the steering column. Used ot for years and years, never broke, never failed. Can't remember who made it, China I guess. Ran a couple of wires, mounted 2 magnets on the tailshaft, and Robert's ya Farvers bruvver. Went across the Nullabor, paid for itself immediately.

SA regs say no old engine in newer car body. Old Windsor XT, XW no good. New 5.0 litre Windsor ok, in E series. Providing it complies with emission control, etc etc. Stoopid, flogbag, guvment departments...... should have National road laws for mods, speed limits, demerits, etc. Then I could buy a 6/71, 302Windsor and drop in my NF Fairlane and get it registered in any state, ( providing it's roadworthy. )

Make sure there are plates/washers under the floor pan that the bolts go through, ( if you need to drill new holes.) If not, during a collision, the seat will tear out of the floor. Just a thought.

steering column plastics problem due to boss kit
bear351c replied to EgoXF's topic in Interior and Car Audio
Yep, what SPArKy Dave said. Wrong boss kit. -
Don't use hi volume oil pumps. Even Crane Cams advised me against it on my Clevo. Do you have an engine built, yet?

Kent Brake and Clutch on Port rd. Powerbrakes Holden Hill No idea on $$$. -
Just the fact that if it came out the factory with one, no engineers or inspection required. All parts are available, so drop straight in. If you give the Rego people the engine number, they'll know......I always keep a cracked engine block out the back, for just such an occasion. Number stamps on ebay. Honestly, 90% of people wouldn't even know the difference. (the other 10% are Ford nuts).

Don't they have metal "pegs" welded on from the factory?? The clips hang off these things. -
