Do you log anything else but?? how do u know what your looking at, or do you only look at the ends of the spectrum?

Ando yes 100% tunable, and will run ANYTHING!!!! EFI, carb with ingition, water injection, whatever you want it to do it will be able to do it, just wire it up as needed and select the option in the software. You can datalog to a laptop or ive even got a bluetooth adapter that i can do bascially anything i could normally do on my laptop now on my galaxy S3, i can drivae along and open the app up and change the tune or datalog or have different tunes loaded for each fuel type and just select one. If you wanted to go bigger there are units to do a lot more but just for the basics and a bit more you cant go past these things for price and simplicity. For under $900 delivered to your door you can get all the hardware to run a MS3X which has a lot more functions including sequential injection for 8 cyl and up to 8 igniton outputs for running LSX coil packs, and the rest, even has an onboard SD card slot to datalog direct to the card with a flip of the switch, then eject the card and load it into your laptop. The software is 100% free but for a small price (donation) you can choose to register and unlock a lot of other features including autotune. And the best part its open source so its been designed by tuners and not programmers so its dead simple to understand and use, and because its not copywrited its constantly improved by tuners all over the world, its like the linux version of haltech I sound like a salesman ahaha...

No paint chart or colour match will ever match that faded, rusted, half sunburnt off paint that is on there now so your pretty much going to have to just invent your own colour to blend in or accept whatever comes out of the gun mate.

Complete replacement mate, so you end up with a programmable ECU with a custom loom run anyhow you want a hidden away as neatly as you want it to be. Throw the old crap over your shoulder including the VAF and newer world standard senders will take there place. PLus a but load of extra features as fa as you want to take it too like controlled nitrous injection, staged water/meth injection for intercooling, knock retardation, the list goes on mate. Take the leap and you wont ever go back.

XD lower balljoints spot welded in?
n00bus m@x1mus replied to XTREME KARTS XF's topic in Steering, Suspension and Brakes
Yeah that looks like some kind of primitive setup there. Just split the lot apart till you back to just the arm and bolt it back in its place. -
Its pretty simple if u can read a wiring diagram and know how to work a soldering iron. The loom is marked on each wire what is what and thee instructions to wire up for each sender. Check out diyautotune.com for prices, you can get prebuilt ecus and a loom ready to wire up or even get the relay board to make it simpler again. The MS1 is pretty simple with a TFI dizzy to wire up.

Megasquirt for the win mate, you can get a MS1 kit ready to wire in for around $400 and then the tuning is limitless as you control everything. Im upgrading to a MS3X when i get my new ute up and running and they can be had for under a grand ready to wire up.

Replied over the road mate, there from a ute, they have a large curvy gusset in the top corner of the screen and they cover that. These should fit with a new set of hole but, i think you need to scollop a bit out of the back edge somewhere as i fitted these in my LTD a while back. -

3 inch lowering block u bolts
n00bus m@x1mus replied to blackxt's topic in Steering, Suspension and Brakes
Heres a 2" block, you can see there is only 70mm clearance between the end of the shock and the ground, this infact makes my ute illegal height, a further 3" of block would jamb this hard into the ground just standing there. -

n00bus m@x1mus replied to blackxt's topic in Steering, Suspension and Brakes
What the actual fuck??? This has got to be made up right???? Even if it was true he wouldnt be able to drive it as his spring plate would have been holding the wheel up off the ground. 2" blocks are safe enough, any more and your asking for trouble, the old leaf spring rear flops all over the place under load and on the brakes, give it more leverage and your in for a suprise. -
Go fast brakes for the ute?
n00bus m@x1mus replied to slydog's topic in Steering, Suspension and Brakes
No plans to but if it takes off and shows support theres no reason why not. You should be able to fot any caliper upgrade that suits from AUII onwards, but the rotor itself cannot incease in size due to the makeup of the spindle arm. -

We are working on a bolt in kit to fit au twin pot calipers to the stock xf rotor. Trying to utilise parts you would find on either an xdef or the au u raid the calipers from so its repair freindly These should fit inside a 15" rim, cant say on spoke clearance until its built but. -
Just be weary of recording an lcd as they flicker so u need to shoot with a quicker frame rate to see it.
-
The innovate does log using the accompanied software but unless u got extra inputs like rpm amd vac its useless info. They do a complete stand alone kit with sensor and display for $200 on ebay and real easy to setup.

The shape of the plenumn would dictate where the deposits run to.

That part no shows they are 19lb injectors and the ones you should have in there now are 155 844 which are 20lb injectors. You could run those if you got an XR6 reg and it should self adapt to get the mixtures right again but its not a guarantee and you still need to swap the plugs over. Just get some AU ones mate, the are 0.8lbs heavier then what u got now, are EV6 so they have a better spray pattern and faster response. Will run a tad heavy for a bit till it tunes it out.
-
Lol yeah 7 is no good hahaha. Id run AU injectors as they are EV6 injectors and will flow well in any 4.0L. the ones you have will need the plugs swapping over to suit the US CAR design.
-
Oh and if they came from an AU 8 then the plugs will be wrong to suit your XH aswell.
-
Ill take them off ur hands of u want bud... Try them in my AU ghia. Ive got some AU I6 EV6 ones here sonic cleaned not too long back. Flow 20.8lbs, the XHs were 19.8lb i think? What is the bosch part number on the side?
-
Blue ones?? The AU ones are orange. Unless they are from a 220kw one then maybe cos i havent laid eyes on them. I think they are quite a bit under rated than the I6 hey. Which ones are you replacing? The unleaded xflow injector?
-
Just the pump has the return on the standard webbers.
-
Why not get a sheet of 6mm conveyor belt rubber and trim it to fit neat in the rear section, then when u need to sit something in the rear just drop that mat in and your away.

I think he wants to paint his new ute tray.
