  1. Thanks guys.

It’s my third trip. I’m getting addicted.
    My list so far is:
    - S pack rim x1
    - drivers seat belt,
    - couple of miscellaneous screws
    - door (LH priority, and RH is all goes well).
    - 1/4 panel LH

The place I’m going in South East Melbourne allows Sabre saws, so I’m charging the battery for extra fun.

  2. Hi folks,

I’m off to the wreckers this weekend. What’s the quickest way to remove front doors? (Gotta keep the wife’s anger to a minimum).

What else do you guys grab from the wreckers. I’m new to falcon projects and am loving it. (Use to muck about with English stuff, but got sick of the oil leaks).

    Cheers,

    Rod.

  3. Hi Guys,

Any advice on how to remove my 86 XF passengers seat belt buckle extension?

The drivers seat had bolts that went through the floor, and nuts on the bottom, all removed okay, then seat belt buckle extension remove to free it from seat.

My problem is the passengers side. The seat itself, is all loose. The seat belt buckle extension goes through a metal loop, which is giving me the frustration. I tried to undo the seat belt buckle extension bolt from inside the car, (under car has a nut that is fixed to chassis). The bolt head was tight, and after turning 1 full turn, it now seems like it’s not wanting to turn.

If you can’t undo the bolt in blue, then how do you get the seat out?

Also what is all the other electrical gear shown in photo? It is a previous amp and stereo? Do I cut it out or leave it it?

    Thanks for you help.

  4. No drama about extra paint, I am sure I can find something a spray.
I rang 13ford, the vehicle was a “commercial order”.
(No “option 36” in the I.D. plate)
Would it be a D4 HORIZON BLUE EJA ?

  5. It is the actual colour. Everywhere I’ve poked around is the same colour, just less scratches. And the I.D. plate specifies the “CZ” which I can’t find a definition of.

Was there ever Police utes that were a light blue (almost white) colour?

    Thanks again you Wizards!

  6. Hi guys,

Generally speaking, it is a light, light sky blue.
(Like a mix of white and light blue).
Nothing on it is marked as anniversary, but I’m new to xf falcons, so could be corrected on what to look for.

Not the best photo, as it now looks whiter

    Thanks for your input.

If I call ford could they tell me what the mix is? I need to “touch up” a few places.
