Hi all, I have a c1 head that has had the three screw holes in the top filled with some kind of metal. Does anybody know if this is how some of these heads came from factory or did sombody do it for some reason. I have not seen it on any other heads Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Nice one, he wanted 130 when I offered him 75, but I’m in no rush for engine parts yet, still got to finish panel work. Saying that if you want to swap the c2 head for a c1 let me know. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

He did pretty much say it’s rooted, I was thinking 75 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I’m thinking of buying the same one I think just for the head. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

So this is my plan, going to get some angle bent up with the top lip bent over. Then make up a jig so I can stamp the lower lip in, then cut some key ways into the roof Flange and match new new pieces into that, I don’t think I explained it very well, I will probably start a build thread and put some pictures up soon Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Thanks guys, I think if I keep taking it back until it’s clean steal and treating it I should be able to make a sound repair, the only thing I think I might have trouble with is the little lip on the bottom that the mouldings clips to. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Hi all. I am about to tackle the drip rails on my xc. It’s the last of the rust repairs( saved the best till last). I can’t find any repair sections available and the sheet metal guys i have talked to aren’t interested or don’t have the right gear. Does any body know were to get repair sections from or had any luck making them themselves Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Hi bear, I hope these help. Mine is a 6 cyl c4 xc. The top of the console mount is 20 mm off the top of the tunnel. I’ll get some specific measurements if you like. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk- 12 replies

Had another mate recommend engine engineering. He has been using them for 20 years and could not speak highly enough of them. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
