  1. I will get the machinist to do it properly before I get it skimmed. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks guys, i did a rough cc of the chamber and got about 45 cc. I might use this head on my xc block. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Also the inlet valve is bigger on this one than the other heads I have Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Does anybody recognise this chamber ? Mark on inlet side of head has been ground off for some reason Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I got my block back from the machinist, he took 050 thou off to get pretty much zero deck, also he cc’d my piston and said it was “about 27 cc”. So with 30 thou over pistons, 040 for gasket and 42 cc c2 head I get my compression at 10:1. I still need to skim the head, does anybody know how much chamber size I will lose if I take 10 thou of the head. And if I round off the sharp edge in the chamber will it add to the chamber volume. Hope fully they will cancel each other out and I will be left with 10.1. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  8. Hi all, I have a c1 head that has had the three screw holes in the top filled with some kind of metal. Does anybody know if this is how some of these heads came from factory or did sombody do it for some reason. I have not seen it on any other heads Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. I think I need one of those heat shields. Looks great Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. I do need a driving light switch knob type thing, is there many e series and xfs there ? I’m going to use e series ecu with j3 chip and I’m thinking of using xf front calipers if I can find a set cheap Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Yeah it used to be in a manual car, I’m thinking about making a new piece from ply and staining it black. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. I’ll be happy with 9.5:1 comp. will have to loose a bit from the bottom of the head or top of the block or little of both. Maybe look into thinner head gasket. With what I have now ( 0.055 deck height, 0.056 gasket, 030 over size, 28 cc piston dish, 42 cc chamber) I have 8.77:1 comp. I think I need to loose about 050. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. I only got it for the head that I am going to use on my xc block Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. im going to use a xf efi intake. I’m not sure what Ecu I will be using yet, have to do a bit more research and do a trip to the wreckers for a Ecu and loom from xf or later ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Dash is wired up and the air con box is connected to the push wire controls. I ended up buying the ducting on eBay for $80. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
