    fuel leak problem

    My 88 xf ute leaks fuel out of the filler cap. I thought id solved this problem by replacing the fuel cap but its leaking again. On hot days the pressure builds up inside the fuel tank forcing fuel to seep out around the filler cap. If I take the cap off to release the pressure about a litre of fuel will gush out... There doesnt appear to be any blockages in any of lines going to and from the tank... Does anyone know how this problem can be fixed?
